Junk removal built for how Chicago actually lives

Chicago is a city of vintage 3-flats, courtyard walk-ups, and brick bungalows, and getting junk out of them is all about stairs and alleys: the couch down three flights of a Lakeview walk-up, the haul out the rear porch and down to the detached alley garage, the bungalow basement full of decades of storage. We're built for all of it, and we fold the whole carry into one flat number quoted from a photo — no per-flight stair fee, no "oversized" upcharge, no day-of surprises. Within a few El stops the city changes character entirely: downtown high-rise lofts in River North and Streeterville (COI and freight elevator), the lakefront Gold Coast mansions and towers, the dense North Side renter turnover, the Spanish-speaking family homes of Pilsen and Little Village, and the Polish Bungalow Belt of Portage Park and Jefferson Park.

Two Chicago realities shape every job. First, winter: snowed-in alleys and icy back stairs make access the hard part for half the year, and we plan for it. Second, the tax: junk removal is a service, and Illinois doesn't tax services — so there's no sales tax on the removal, and your total comes out lower than the same sticker would in New York. We also offer Spanish-, Polish-, and Chinese-friendly service on request.

What Chicago customers say

★★★★★

"Couch and a mattress down three flights of a Lakeview walk-up, brutal side-street parking. Flat price from a photo, careful on the vintage stairs, gone same-day. No surcharge for the carry."

— Ryan M., Lakeview
★★★★★

"Cleared my mom's bungalow basement in Portage Park — decades of boxes, an old washer, and water-damaged stuff from a spring backup. Out the back, alley to the garage. Fair flat price, donated the good furniture."

— Kasia W., Portage Park
★★★★★

"River North high-rise — they handled the COI and the freight-elevator reservation with the building, then cleared the whole condo. No drama with management. Flat price, exactly as quoted."

— Daniel S., River North
